Clothe-A-Child Drive the weekend of October 10th & 11th
Posted on October 1st, 2026 By Sharon KleefischSt. Andrew PTA members will be outside after all Masses October 10th & 11th collecting money for the Clothe-A-Child Drive. Checks can be made payable to SAS PTA. The money collected will go to the CCSCC to shop for Christmas outfits for underprivileged children in the New Orleans area. If you are unable to make your donation that weekend , PTA can accept donations now through Thursday, October 15th, at the Parish Office or School Office. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Legion of Mary Events starting in October

Please join us each Saturday after the 4PM Mass and Sunday after the 9:30AM Mass to say 1 decade of the Rosary in the front circle by the fountain.
Join us at an Open House on the first Wednesday of every month. We hope to see you there!

St. Francis Assisi Eucharistic Adoration Challenge, St. Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day on October 4th
Jesus told St. Francis, “Francis, go and repair my house, which, as you see, is falling into ruin.” At first, Francis brought rocks to repair the neglected churches with his own hands. You can spiritually do the same through Eucharistic Adoration.
What? Spend 1 hour in adoration to help fill 800 hours, representing 800 years since St. Francis lived.
When? Beginning September 15th (The Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows) through January 10 (the official end of the St. Francis of Assisi Jubilee year.)
How? 1.Spend time in quiet adoration with Jesus. 2. Sign in to record your hour. 3.When you have completed your hour, place a rock in the church model inside the chapel. Are you up for the Eucharist Adoration challenge? Sign-up here.
