2020-2021 Information with changes to our regular program due to COVID-19:

St. Andrew the Apostle’s CCD program is for children in grades 1-10 who do not attend a Catholic school and want to learn and grow in their Catholic faith. The parish religion classes will focus on Catholic doctrine, prayers, scripture, traditions, and the sacraments on age-appropriate levels that build upon the foundation of faith established at home. Our CCD program has been blessed with wonderful catechists who are excited to begin a new year of teaching the children of our parish about our shared Catholic faith.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CCD classes will not be held in person for the foreseeable future. Rather, weekly online videos and lessons will be emailed to parents of those enrolled in CCD classes every Tuesday beginning September 15. These videos from St. Andrew’s CCD coordinator and teachers will serve as a guide for family catechesis. Our elementary program for grades 1-6 will use a workbook series that includes an online version of the book with accompanying online materials. Our junior and senior high school program for grades 7-10 will use a textbook and materials developed by the teachers. We plan to share creative ways to stay connected as a community while maintaining appropriate social-distancing. More information will be shared as it becomes available.

When able to do so, classes are regularly held on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm for grades 1-6 and from 7:00-8:00pm for grades 7-10.
