Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is the sacramental celebration in which, through God’s mercy and forgiveness, the sinner is reconciled with God and also with the Church. It heals people who are spiritually sick and helps us not to sin again. Reconciliation is also known as Confession or the Sacrament of Penance.
Confessions are heard Tuesday through Friday 6:30 – 7:00 a.m. and Saturday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. or by appointment. Please call the parish office at (504) 393-2334, if you wish to arrange for a private confession.
The Sacrament of First Reconciliation for students in the second grade will be celebrated on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM. For more information or questions regarding registration, please call Frances Harrison at the Parish Office at (504) 393-2334.
