Mrs. Trudy Cook joined St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in 1999 and became the new Director of Religious Education. Prior to joining the parish, Mrs. Cook was a religion teacher at St. Agnes School from 1975 thru 1990, and the Director of Religious Education at St. Bonaventure Church from 1993 thru 1999. She is a graduate of Riverdale High Schoo, and in 2007 she received her Certification as a Director of Religious Education from the Institute of Catechetics and Spirituality, Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Married to her husband Albert for 40 years, Mrs. Cook is the proud mother of two children, Albert III and Allen, and three grandchildren, Bethany, Victoria, and Andrew.
Mrs. Cook has been a wonderful addition to St. Andrew Parish because of her passion and desire to evangelize to all of God’s people.
