St. Andrew the Apostle School will be hosting it’s annual Open House on Wednesday, January 18th at 6:30 PM. Please contact the school for more details.

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

St. Andrew School Board is looking for interested persons to advise and support the pastor and the principal in setting policies for planning, operation, and maintenance of the school’s facilities. You can serve the Lord by:

-Being an ambassador of St. Andrew the Apostle School and the church parish.

-Serving as lay ministers in service to Catholic Education and helping the church parish fulfill their teaching mission in Jesus Christ.

-Using your God-given talents and abilities to help fulfill the mission.

-Becoming interested in our mission to ensure the future success of St. Andrew.

If you think you have something to offer, elections are in April. All applications must be submitted by April 29th. Applications can be picked up at the school office.

RED, WHITE & YOU GALA

The annual RED, WHITE & YOU GALA was held on March 26th in The Tower. The Party with live music by KARMA was extremely successful. Thank you to all who participated in this important fund raising event for the school!

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR

St. Andrew the Apostle School is currently in the process of registering students in grades Pre-K 3 through 8th grade for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year. New student registration is being held February 21-25. Please contact the school at 394-4171 for more information.

Congratulations to JANEL FIELDING, ANNE HOUIN, and DAN OSER who were recently elected to positions on the St. Andrew School Board. They will be serving three year terms starting with the new school year.

Red, White, and You! Information

It’s not too late! The Red, White, and You Gala is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, in the Tower on the St. Andrew campus. While the elimination raffle tickets are all sold out, there are still a few tickets available for the gala. You can also purchase tickets for the Tuition Raffle (free tuition or $2000). You do not have to be present to win. Items to be auctioned include Class Creations, Lucky Stars, weekend trips, camps, and jewelry.

Music will be provided by the Paragon Band.

St. Andrew the Apostle School will hold its annual open house on Wednesday, January 20th, starting at 6:30 pm. The Open House presentation will begin promptly at 6:30 pm in the church with tours to follow. All prospective students, current students, and parents are welcome.

If you are not able to attend the Open House please call the school office at 504-394-4171 to arrange a tour.

Christmas Holidays coming up!

St. Andrew the Apostle School will be closed for the Christmas Holidays from 11:00 AM on December 18th, through Monday, January 4th. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 5th.
